Christopher Astbury - born 16.08.1950, died 30.04.2013 aged 61 yrs. Chris loved to be active and doing things, either sporting or restructuring buildings so that the spaces fitted his purposes. He developed Rheumatoid Arthritis which couldn't be controlled by medication due to an underlying lung condition of Pulmonary Fibrosis. The progressive nature of the two conditions meant that his love of cycling, walking, playing badminton and any form of DIY ground to a halt. Chris died from lung failure on 30th April 2013. This Breath of Life Fund is set up for people to donate to further the research towards finding a cure for lung conditions such as the one Chris suffered from. Chris was always fascinated by the universe and the stars. If we can raise £5,000 Chris will have a star named after him. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
